The role of a pensions administrator is to handle a wide range of responsibilities in relation to a pension scheme, or schemes. The Finance Act of 2004 requires every pension scheme to have a scheme administrator and they must be appointed under the scheme rules. They help with the ongoing running of pension schemes, from compliance and calculations to communications.
