National Pension Trust expands its business development team
13 Jul 2022
The National Pension Trust (NPT), a multi-employer master trust and part of the XPS Pensions Group, has further expanded its team with Nick Desai appointed to the new role of Business Development Consultant.
Nick’s primary responsibility will be to manage and further develop NPT’s relationships with its introducers, relaying to them recent key developments in the NPT proposition. Nick’s appointment represents yet another senior hire for XPS Pensions Group, following on from several key hires over the last 12 months as XPS Pensions Group continues to expand its operations.
Nick has over 30 years’ experience in the pensions sector, with sales and management roles in various life companies, including a stint promoting the Aegon workplace platform to corporate firms. Most recently, Nick was working for a small fintech firm providing employee benefit services.
It’s fantastic to be able to join a rapidly growing, highly regarded Master Trust with such an enthusiastic and qualified team. I look forward to working with my new colleagues and communicating with both prospects and Benefit Consultancies as we bring future innovations to market to improve outcomes for our members.
Nick Desai
NPT Business Development Consultant
I’m delighted to welcome Nick to our growing NPT team. Nick will have a vital role to play in the continued growth of NPT. This growth reflects the market leading developments we’ve made to the proposition. We have recently revised our performance-leading default fund to focus on climate change and to reduce carbon exposure and we have a number of further exciting developments to come over the next few months.
