Charlotte Jones Awarded ‘2021 Pensions Actuary of the Year’ Actuarial Post Awards

We are delighted to announce that Charlotte Jones, Senior Consultant, XPS Pensions Group, wins ‘2021 Pensions Actuary of the Year’ in the Actuarial Post Awards.

Charlotte has worked at XPS Pensions Group since graduating, joining our Reading office in 2008 as an actuarial trainee.  Currently she works on a wide variety of clients including some of the very largest pension schemes in the UK.

Charlotte says:

“I was absolutely thrilled! I was blown away by the support and kind words from clients and colleagues. My two little boys were very excited to see ‘Mummy’s prize’ and my husband’s main concern was whether the shelf that he spent ever so long putting up would hold the weight of the award!

XPS has given me the chance to get involved in such broad exciting opportunities such as leading the team in the development of XPS's unique DB:UK funding tracker, helping schemes to monitor against their long term targets, and being the first chair of the XPS’s Women’s Network. The events that we have run as part of the Women’s Network are really starting to impact on the day-to-day lives and careers of the women at XPS and it makes me so proud to have been a part of that.”
