The 2023 Mansion House speech was a gamechanger for DC pensions, with some of the largest providers announcing they would allocate at least 5% of their default fund asset allocation to private markets and, in particular, unlisted equities by 2030.
The new Chancellor, Rachel Reeves, is due to make her inaugural Mansion House speech on 14 November where we expect to hear the government’s vision for the industry.
